Moving the exterior mirrors to the doors - before they were attached to the base of the front pillars - also favours improved visibility and, as a result, safety and driving pleasure.<\/p>\n

The new HR-V EX Honda SENSING and EXL Honda SENSING are equipped with an atmospheric four-cylinder in-line engine, all-aluminium,\u00a01.5 litre 16V DI DOHC i-VTEC<\/strong>\u00a0- Intelligent gas lift phase control system and electronic lift control is a system that changes the amplitude and duration of intake valve opening. The maximum torque is 15.8 kgf\/hv at 4600 rpm (ethanol) and 15.5 kgf\/hv at 4600 rpm (petrol). In accordance with the Brazilian labelling programme (PBE), the new HR-V with a 1.5-litre atmospheric engine consumes 8.8\/12.7 km\/l in the city (ethanol\/petrol) and 9.8\/13.9 km\/l on the highway.<\/p>\n

On Versions\u00a0Advance and Honda HR-V Touring<\/strong>The new HR-V has an unprecedented and technologically very advanced engine: a four-cylinder in-line 1.5 DI VTEC TURBO Flex. Like the 1.5 DI i-VTEC Flex engine, it is entirely made of aluminium and has uninterrupted injection under high pressure, which eliminates the need for auxiliary systems for preheating the fuel for starting at low temperatures. In environments as low as -5 \u00b0C - an extremely rare situation in Brazil - the waiting time required to start the engine is close to zero, even if the tank is filled with 100% ethanol. Active flow control technologies, which can be seen in the atmospheric engine, are also present in the 1.5 DI VTEC TURBO Flex: the VTEC system changes the amplitude and duration of opening of the exhaust valves, and VTC advances or inhibits synchronisation in both control elements, in accordance with the intake and exhaust.<\/p>\n

It has maximum capacity\u00a0177k.c. at 6,000rpm.<\/strong>\u00a0The maximum torque is 24.5 kgf\/hr from 1700 to 4500 rpm (ethanol or petrol). In accordance with the Brazilian labelling programme (PBE), the consumption of the new HR-V Advance and Honda HR-V Touring in the city is 7.9\/11.3 km\/l (ethanol\/petrol) and on the road 8.8\/12.6 km\/l. \/\u043b.<\/p>\n

Box\u00a0CVT gears<\/strong>\u00a0The stepless transmission, recognised for its reliability, durability and efficiency, offers seven speeds by changing gears on the kermis (exclusive equipment for EXL Honda SENSING, Advance and Touring versions). Step shift and EDDB (early downshift during cruising), both available on all versions, contribute to a favourable driving experience regardless of the type of journey.<\/p>\n

Stepinpartial remixing<\/strong>\u00a0The CVT is designed for sporty driving or conditions where maximum engine power is required. When the accelerator is downshifted (kickdown), the CVT electronic control centre coordinates the changes in the friction points of the gears, confirming the sensation of the change. EDDB operates during revving when, based on the input signals of galvanisation and acceleration, the gearbox downshifts one or more gears, maintaining the appropriate wraparound for each situation (topography and driving). In practice, this means mountain descents with the help of engine throttle, as well as re-steering, throttle and turns with shaky steering. The automatic downshift provided by EDDB also contributes to the excellent fuel economy of the new HR-V.<\/p>\n

IMPROVED DYNAMICS AND CONSTRUCTIVE MAINTENANCE<\/h3>\n

The new HR-V offers improved directional stability as a result of the evolution of the steering and suspension system. Due to more rigid attachment points, the steering body ensures a quick reaction of the vehicle to the steering on the kermis. In the suspension, apart from the work to reduce rubbing of components to improve cohesion on the nervous surface, there are new hum stops for the rear shock absorbers and new bushings. The improvements have improved cornering behaviour and significantly increased comfort, especially for those driving in the rear.<\/p>\n
