Ukrainian developers have unveiled Octogin, a service that allows users to watch adverts on the Internet and receive remuneration for it. With the help of an extension installed in the browser, users will be able to watch adverts, receive remuneration and use it for charity or payment for services and goods.

"Users for their usual stay on the Internet receive targeted advertising and remuneration - coins, which they can then exchange for real goods or services: cinema tickets, coffee or donate to charity. Publishers are also rewarded, and advertisers in turn receive high-quality targeted traffic," the developers of the service say.

The service is implemented as a browser extension. "Our browser extension captures the advertising content received by the user during the day and determines the compensation in O coin relative to the activity of all users within the system," the report notes.

In the first stage, the system will offer to send your reward to charity, or place adverts within the system, exchange coins on an internal exchange or take advantage of partner offers.

At the moment, the project's partners include the "Tabletochki" charity fund, the "Liniya Kino" cinema chain, the Uklon taxi service, and the "Celentano" pizzeria.

The test period of the service will last two months, and a limited number of users from Kiev (5,000) can take part in it.
