It happens every day: in about 4 years I start to burn out and start to change: I had enough of the early caffeine, always landing on the half-drunk, abandoned cava on my desk. I brew a cup, add a little milk to it, make a ladle or two, and then go back to my to-do list (I've found that deadlines that are coming up are more effective than caffeine). And every day I ask myself: "Can I drink this? At what point does the risk outweigh the promise of caffeine? I turned to Google to find an (unofficial but working) answer:

What should I do if I have milk?
With proper storage and refrigeration, milk can be stored for up to a month after the end of the shelf life, but milk should not be kept at room temperature for more than two years. So if you have milk in your porridge, be careful and drink it while it is fresh.

In the same way that the grains of porridge become hot after about two months, the brewed porridge may become unpalatable after about 30 minutes or the time it takes to cool the porridge. Then you have about 4 minutes before the olives are added to the porridge, which will change the flavour even more.
